How to Make an American Quilt (1995)
Creaking with metaphors, it is a lovely story to watch, with a knockout cast. We see different women from different generations, who tell about their lives in flashbacks - their love lives. In center of the film is Finn, played by Winona Ryder, who is not sure if she wants to marry her boyfriend. She visits her grandmother and all her friends, who are making a Quilt for her. Each woman brings her own perspective to the nature of love, from Anna (who signs off on men completely after a bad experience) to her daughter Marianne (who cannot settle on just one man). Some of the women have been cheated on, some have done the cheating, while others just let love die. In spite of the pains that the women have suffered in the name of love, the movie does not in any way bash love or marriage. A really nice film with many great moments.
Finn is a young graduate student, finishing a master’s thesis, and preparing for marriage to her fiance Sam. But thoughts of the end of the free life, and a potential summer fling, intrude. She goes home to her grandmother, where, over the making of her wedding gift by a group of quilting-bee friends, laughter, bickering, love, and advice lead her toward a more open-eyed examination of her course.

Celebrity (1998)
A Woody Allen film starring Kenneth Branagh, Judy Davis and Leonardo DiCaprio, also Melanie Griffith, Winona Ryder and Charlize Theron give great performances. A funny look at people who will do anything to get famous or stay famous. Not Allen’s best work, but I enjoyed it, I like that it’s shot in black and white too.
Plot:
Lee Simon, unsuccessful journalist and wanna-be novelist, tries to get a foot into the door with celebrities. After divorcing his wife Robin, Lee gets to meet a lot folks of the rich and / or beautiful, partly through journalism, partly because he has a script to offer. But life among those from out-of-this-world is hard, and his putative success always results in defeat. Meanwhile Robin meets a very desirable TV-producer and takes the first steps in the world of celebrities herself.

Girl, Interrupted (1999)
this movies is not only so fantastic because of Angelina (though she gives her best performance ever) this movie shows the inside of a mental hospital, full of crazy woman!
Plot:
Susanna is rushed to the hospital. Afterwards she discusses this with a psychiatrist. She had been having some delusions. She had also been having an affair with the husband of her parents’ friend. The doctor suggests that combining a bottle of aspirin and a bottle of vodka was a suicide attempt. This she denies. He recommends a short period of rest at Claymoore. Claymoore is a private mental hospital full of noisy, crazy people. Georgina is a pathological liar. Polly has been badly scarred by fire. Daisy won’t eat in the presence of other people. Lisa is a sociopath, the biggest exasperation for the staff - like Nurse Valerie - and the biggest influence on the other girls in the hospital. Lisa has a history of escapes, so gaining access to personal medical files is not a problem… Susanna’s boyfriend Toby is concerned that she seems too comfortable living with her institutionalized friends…
